A luxury development in the heart of trendy De Waterkant (Cape Town), a unique European influenced area known for its quaint, historic and colourful semi-detached cottages, cobbled streets, sidewalk cafés, coffee shops & restaurants. OLD CAPE QUARTER (OCQ) will be developed above a piazza of existing retail and commercial spaces. I was commissioned to create an identity and marketing campaign to attract local and foreign investors to one of the most vibrant and sought after areas of historic Cape Town. THE IDENTITY – A perfect square created from the letters O C Q, a visual link to the existing piazza – a European inspired square with cafés, galleries and boutiques. The overall concept, colour palette and collateral were inspired by the café lifestyle, creating a mood of being inside an aromatic coffee shop.
